WHY WATER-WISE CANNABIS MATTERS

Without water, there is no KAYAK. Whether you’re talking the actual water sport or our brand, we all depend on water. Colorado’s fast-growing population puts a strain on freshwater resources that are already taxed due to drought. Water flow in our backyard Arkansas River dropped from approximately 248 cubic feet per second on average from 1944–1963 to 53 cubic feet per second from 1984–2003, largely due to irrigation.

PART OF THE SOLUTION

As a company, it is our responsibility to be part of the solution. By recycling our water, composting our green waste and working toward greener practices, we are helping to protect the water we need, the river we play in and the land we love. Right on, Bud!
